Welcome to the site of The Last Chronicle of Yrneh

Foreword

I am happy to welcome you to the website of the novel I began writing in 2002 and tried to get published in 2004 by a publishing house called Bragelonne.

Now, after updating the website and making one final pass on the corrections, I published the novel in 2018 on Amazon in both paperback and digital format.

An audio version, a comic, a manga, a Franco-Belgian graphic novel and, who knows, perhaps a visual adaptation one day are all being considered...

This is my first novel, one that I reworked many times over ten years but left aside for far too long.

I invite all kind souls to join the project in order to give it an even greater dimension and to complete some of the sections I no longer have enough time to maintain.

At the moment Sonya is helping me with the translation and proofreading in Russian and Hebrew, Benjamin with the Spanish version, Jennifer with the English version from Texas, and I still need to find a translator for the Japanese version.

I am also still looking for one or more artists for the manga, comics and Franco-Belgian graphic novel versions.

Thank you all in advance.

The novel has been published on Amazon: The Last Chronicle of Yrneh, in paperback and digital format.

Website history

2026: Website update. Flash modules (no longer supported by browsers) corrected in HTML5. Since 2002, the website has had 18 versions, evolving from HTML 4 to XHTML 1.1 Strict + CSS2 and then to HTML 5 + CSS3.

2022: Final adjustments to Baldric's cosplay: I have the Dragon Saber, the leather gloves, the belt, the breastplate will be made, as well as a leather and foam Vegeta-style version, a burgundy scarf, an overcoat and a top; I still need to find boots and trousers.

2021: Collaboration with Melvine Verpoorten on 3 drawings - Collaboration discontinued because Melvin's style did not suit me in the end.

2019: Self-funding campaign on the KissKissBankBank website cancelled.

2018: Publication of the novel on Amazon.

2016: The 31st chapter is shortened and becomes an epilogue.

2016: Proofreading of the novel by Margot.

2007: Website and novel improvement put on hold; Bragelonne finally sent its negative reply by mail. 2 years of waiting in the reading committee, 2 rounds of voting: 5 vs 5 then 4 vs 6. The novel was deposited with the INPI.

2006: Map and map sections uploaded, first English version online, forum updated, website under renovation.

2005: Bragelonne informed me that the manuscript had gone to the reading committee, with a reply due in 6 months. 6th & 7th versions of the website presented as a PHP project during the DESS. Terre de Brume indicated a reply within two months: final rejection.
The manuscript was revised once again after the refusal of the publisher Christian Bourgois. It was sent to several publishing houses such as Bragelonne.

2004: New improvements, rewriting of several passages. 5th version of the website. Manuscript deposited with the SGDL. 4th version of the website. Improvement of Yrneh's appendices: creation of the dictionary, improvement of Ogarudh.
Implementation of the metric system, redefinition of the chronicles.

2003: The novel finally reached its final form: 31 chapters, first public reading. 3rd version of the website. First correction of the manuscript; many things were reworked and the spelling improved. 1st version of the website.
The first draft of the novel was completed; the manuscript contained 30 chapters. Writing of the novel began.

2002: Creation of Baldric de Dol. Drafting of the other characters. The first six chapters already existed, but they did not yet have their current form and the protagonists had different names. A first map sketch was drawn on a plane.
The draft of Yrneh's 3 cycles gradually began to take shape. Creation of Fulk Arken, inspired by the Count of Anjou, Foulque Nerra.
